Today is a special day because new name of Emperor's era is noticed via TV ,media, and internet.

"Reiwa" is the name of new Emperor's era.
Prince Naruhito succeeds Heisei Emperor's throne.
As of May 1st, prince Naruhito will become new Emperor.

Reiwa derives from Japanese ancient document "Manyoshu".
Beautiful moon and plum blossoms lead to peace.
This old episode is the origin of new era name "Reiwa".

All Japanese welcome the new era.
Until April 30, the name of era is "Heisei".

Nobel prize winner Shinya Yamanaka is invited as an advisor.
